The mystical cities of the Sorcerer Kings are architectural marvels only rivaled by their sorcerous prowess of their denizens. The forges are always hot, the water is always clean, but where the true power that this primordial relationship offers is most apparent is on the battlefield. Troops of loyal soldiers, powerful elementals, and the mighty conjurers that unite them warp the world itself against the enemy. Masters of the arcane, the Sorcerer Kings unleash potent magics and Rituals onto the enemy. Elemental forces combine into a swirling melee of earth, water, wind, and flame. Anveshak, the Outcast: Born to the powerful and influential Suren family with a powerful Gift, Anveshak was not celebrated because he was the second child born with the Gift directly into the family. A large part of the Suren family’s power and influence came from the sheer power of its leader’s sorcerous lineage. His bound Efreet was passed directly to the elder son, ensuring a stable transition, full control over his bound servant and a powerful head start due to the extent of the family’s explored lands in the Domain of Fire. Anveshak’s presence upset all of this, for not only was he a second child with a claim to the inheritance, threatening the primacy of the firstborn, he had the temerity to be born with an affinity to Earth, rather than fire. Forced to study the families traditional path of Fire and bound to a lesser Efreet, he was destined for the role of Raj, commanding the family’s limited mortal domains within the Prime due to his limited sorcerous potential. These domains were conveniently out of the way of its sorcerous heartland and weak and isolated enough that an accident could be arranged upon his elder brother’s accession. Unbeknownst to his family, the pairing with his efreet, Rhazeem, was a match destined to elevate them both. Both Anveshak and Rhazeem disdained politics and underhanded dealings, possessing instead a keen intellect and deep curiosity. Their misfit standing granted them both the freedom to explore and the humility needed to learn and connect with others. Abandoning his post and seizing destiny with his own hands Anveshak has done the unthinkable: striking deep into the Elemental Domains and forging for himself a small but growing kingdom through the efforts of all Primordial Elementals, held together by respect and common goals, rather than the traditional subjugation that Sorcerer Kings espouse. In battle he is more than capable of holding his own ground with a small but elite force composed entirely of allied Primordial beings who respond to his commands, but also retain initiative, making them a deadly force on the battlefield.
Primordial Convocation – Forgoing the mortal forces of the Sorcerer Kings, this Warband is a convergence of conjured Elementals; Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Such a gathering of primordial energies allows Spellcasters of the Sorcerer Kings to conjure rare and unique Rituals. To form pacts with so many Elementals is dangerous and difficult; it takes a powerful and/or foolish sorcerous master to bind them, as Elementals are capricious and esoteric in temperament.
Maharajah Anveshak: Wielding the unbridled power of the primordial planes, Anveshak is a swirling tempest of elemental sorcery. Combining the four elements, Anveshak is able to conjure Rituals and cast unique spells interacting with all Elementals, regardless of Courts. Anveshak transcends mortal limitations, coalescing into an arcane foci; blending reality with elemental domains which hinder the enemy or shift wounds between Elementals. Projecting his sorcery in combat, Anveshak is a competent combatant in his own right.
