    Ikasukoro, the Iron Daimyo: 

    There is no other Daimyo with the respect and power that Ikasukoro commands, for he alone has trod both the Path of Bushi and Ayakashi in pursuit of enlightenment, a feat second only to that of Shuten Doji, the Twice Masked Prince, who led the Yoroni to freedom from the Elemental Hells. In a now legendary duel with Kensei Tsuroji he achieved enlightenment by witnessing his opponent’s sublime form, managing to merge both his wild, aggressive Ayakashi spirit with the path of the Bushi. He has since advanced at a rate none can grasp, and many of his followers expect him to descend to the Hells once more to emulate Shuten Doji and walk the Five Fold Path in its entirety. He has thus far demurred, claiming to prepare for his greatest challenge yet, against a danger that even now brews within the ranks of the Bakufu. What few know is that Ikasukoro himself is the danger to the Bakufu. Like a snake coiled against the breast of the great beast, this heartless manipulator has wormed his way into the bosom of the very society he seeks to destroy. Posing as Kensei Tsuroji’s greatest admirer, Ikasukoro knows what no one else knows: Kensei Tsuroji will not return, because he cannot. The legendary duel was anything but, it was a ruthless betrayal against a legend weakened by poison and underhanded traps, whose enlightenment was stripped to feed Ikasukoro. To prevent his return, Tsuroji’s name was defiled and reduced to ‘Zako,’ and his form was reduced to that of a puny Shikigami bound to Ikasukoro, in what all believe to be a noble effort to awaken the latent soul of a once powerful Yoroni. Safe in his secret, Ikasukoro now waits, biding his time to reveal his next move while building his powerbase and forces to a level unheard of amongst the Yoroni. 

    Bushidan Clan: A mighty Warband of elite Yoroni comprised of only those with the strength, courage, or mastery to overcome new challenges on the path to enlightenment. In a Test of Spirit, Yoroni of this Warband may choose to randomise their Ideal Cards, allowing fate to dictate the flow of battle. Fortune favors the bold, and Warriors who rise to the challenge are rewarded with increased efficacy of their Ideal Cards. Honorable and militaristic, Yoroni Characters must accept Enemy Duels and are Blessed while locked in mortal combat.

    Ikasukoro: Might makes right, and for Ikasukoro none have been able to challenge him on this. A towering incarnate of strength, martial discipline, and monstrous ferocity, Ikasukoro cares little for the trivialities of commanding Warriors. He leaves such tasks to Zako, Ikasukoro’s mysterious underling, who barks orders on behalf of the tyrant. The duo dominate the battlefield, Ikasukoro fighting off hordes of enemies and mighty foes alike while Zako ensures his master’s battleplan is carried out.
