    Timoleon, The Lion:

Timoleon is old. Far older than many of his followers give him credit for, the truth behind his age and longevity is hidden by the mists of time and legend. Born in a faraway land during a time of fire and faith, the High Shaman of the Nords is a convert, and a fierce protector of the Old Traditions of the Nords. He has championed the Old Faith for as long as he has lived; he is the only Nord to have seen the Gods battle Surtr and his fire giants. He was a figure of legend long before the Einherjar awoke, leading the surviving Nords through the harsh Fimbulwinter that followed the death of the gods, such that upon their awakening the Einherjar defaulted to his wisdom and leadership. In time, their burgeoning power allowed them to take the fight directly to the Jotunn, depending on Timoleon and his ice magics to keep the remnants of their people safe. Taxed to his utmost limits by his efforts, Timoleon fell into a long sleep, his icy form became an object of worship and veneration among the shamanistic orders he founded. His absence from the climactic fights harmed his legend, and a new generation of Nords grew to believe in the divinity of the Einherjar above that of the old gods, whom they claim had failed. Awakened at last from his age old slumber, Timoleon has wasted no time in showing the foolish youth the error of their ways. He and a band of like-minded shamans and Jarls have started flexing their power, rekindling the vestiges of the old faith through furor and steel.

Timoleon’s Forsaken Fyrd: Wage war while venerating the old ways. Ancient warrior lodges of the Nords muster, going into battle extolling totemic aspects and ritualized combat. While on the precipice of death, these Warriors of the Nords enter a frenzied trance-like state, heightening their ferocity and fervor. Every Round, choose an Aspect to venerate, granting a Character or Regiment a shamanistic boon as they vie for glory in combat. Show the Einerjhar-worshipping whelps that the Warriors of the old ways have fight in them yet.

Timoleon the Lion: Ancient and powerful, the sorcerous might of Timoleon is unparalleled, be it Shamanic or otherwise. Conjuring mighty storms to hinder the enemy or encasing the foe in prisons of ice, Timoleon controls the battlefield with freezing ferocity. Every round, the power of his storm increases, further hindering the foe while inspiring the warriors under his command. An enemy who foolishly attempts to attack Timoleon or a Warrior under his protection is met with either a barrier of ice or a rush of wind, negating their assault and halting their advance before the Warriors of the Nords cut them down for their insolence.
